Jerzy Leszek is a full time professor of psychiatry at the Medical University in Wroclaw , Poland ,vice –director of the Psychiatry Department and head of Alzheimer’s Disease Lab. He is author and co-author more than 210 papers (especially from old age psychiatry), some chapters to the books published in reputed Polish and international journals and serving as an editorial board member of several journals .He is Scientific Editor and co-author of first Polish academic handbook on Alzheimer’s disease and seven another academic handbooks from psychogeriatry , member a lot of scientific associations eg founder and president of Lower Silesian Association of Alzheimer’s Families, first of its kind in Poland and Former Member of Board of Directions of International Psychogeriatric Association and President of Polish Psychogeriatric Association.

Karyn Casey is a Speech-Language Pathologist in Johannesburg, South Africa. Her work combines running a multidisciplinary private practice, a teaching appointment at the University of the Witwatersrand, and delivering a range of training workshops for ICU staff, care facilities and fellow rehabilitation professionals. Karyn also works within a community- based brain injury rehabilitation program. She is a presenter at a number of workshops and keynote addresses at local and international conferences on the subject of swallowing disorders. She has also participated in a number of international conferences on neurological rehabilitation and dysphagia, including the annual European Society on Swallowing Disorders and the United Kingdom Swallowing Research Group Meeting held annually in London. Most recently, she presented at the World Congress for Neurological Rehabilitation held in Istanbul in 2014. Karyn is a member of the World Healthy Ageing Congress 2015 Scientific Committee, where she heads the Allied Health and Mutlidisciplinary Portfolio. She is also a leading researcher of the MYSTROKE initiative, which is the national coordinating body to develop and coordinate stroke guidelines for South Africa, on behalf of the South African Stroke Society. Her primary clinical interests are in the areas of adults with a range of neurogenic disorders of speech, language and swallowing. She has a specialist involvement in the rehabilitation of dysphagia, and research interests in the relationship between cognition and dysphagia in dementia, as well as Motor Neuron Disease (MND) and dementia. Karyn is the only advanced VitalStim® Speech-Language Pathologist practitioner in South Africa. Having completed her primary training in the USA in 2008 and her advanced training in 2010, she provides VitalStim® therapy to a number of patients within her private practice. Her fellow colleagues within her practice are also VitalStim® certified. The practice currently treats in excess of 200 patients using VitalStim® every quarter. Karyn serves as a mentor for a number of VitalStim® practitioners in South Africa. Karyn Casey represents the South African Speech-Language and Hearing Association as an advisor on their joint panel with South Africa's major private healthcare provider (Discovery Health). Karyn is also a reviewer for a number of scientific journals. She is currently the President of the South African Neurological Rehabilitation Association and is the President of the Local Organising Committee for the World Congress of Neurological Rehabilitation to be held in Cape Town in 2020.

John Grandy has been a physician assistant in urgent care, psychiatry, and internal medicine for almost 10 years. Prior to this he completed a M.S. in neurophysiology and molecular immunology at Roswell Park Cancer Research Institute, in Buffalo, New York. He has published several peer reviewed medical articles and book chapters on many topics including Alzheimer disease and consciousness. He is the originator of the proposal of the very first neurogenetic model to account for human consciousness.

Wutian Wu has received his medical degree in Sun YatSen University of Medical Sciences, Guangdong, China in 1975 and a Master Degree in Neuroanatomy in the same institute in 1981. He was a clinician and later a teacher for medical students for more 10 years in Mainland China and went to US for his oversea study and work. Prof. Wu received his PhD degree in Neuroscience in 1991 and continued to work in Eastern Virginia Medical School till 1996. Prof Wu joined the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong in Jan. 1996 as an assistant professor, promoted to associate professor in 1997 and professor in 2008. Prof Wu ’s research is well recognized. His contributions include: 1 A total of over 100 original peer review articles with more than 2000 citations received; 2 Initiation of 14 active international and local collaborative studies with a few of outstanding research groups Centers; 3 A total of 29 research grants 23 as principal investigator and 6 as coinvestigator with total of over HK 20 millions awarded; 4 More than 40 invited lectures, visiting professorship

WK Tang was appointed to professor in the Department of Psychiatry, the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011. His main research areas are Addictions and Neuropsychiatry in Stroke. Professor Tang has published over 100 papers in renowned journals, and has also contributed to the peer review of 40 journals. He has secured over 20 major competitive research grants. He has served the editorial boards of five scientific journals. He was also a recipient of the Young Researcher Award in 2007, awarded by the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
